I love working with people and planning events; and I have a true passion in event decor and design! Born, raised and currently reside in Fayetteville, NC (That's right, one of the rare natives!) Mother of one daughter and engaged planning to wed on 10.20.2012

Originally driven by the fashion world in grade school, event design and planning later became my creative outlet.  I started DESIGNS BY LADY VYE because of the true passion I have for helping people.  I was working with people every day at my job and I experienced the frustration that people were going through as they were planning their events.  I wanted to HELP!!  I knew that I had something great to offer them, so I began the pursuit to offer what I had to share to the world. I continued my education and collaborated with others in the industry, to offer the best knowledge and service to my clientele.

Obtaining my certification of Wedding Director/Coordinator through Fayetteville Technical Community College in 2006; continuing to receive Wedding and Event certifications through Universal Class, Inc in 2008.  Growing my knowledge by several business related continuing education seminars.  Received the Sprit of Hospitality Award in 2006 and the Pride in Hospitality Award in 2008 from the Fayetteville Area Convention and Visitors Bureau.

I have invested 11 years in the hospitality industry at the Hotel Bordeaux and Conference Center, formally better known as the Holiday Inn Bordeaux, Fayetteville, NC; I withheld several titles to include executive positions and handled all wedding accounts since 2004, estimated of over 300! This experience has enabled me to grasp a competitive edge and understanding in the following areas: Event Planning, Detailing, Food & Beverage, Contract Negotiation, Contract Terminology, Vendor Management, Budgets, Invoicing, Collections, Event/Banquet Setup, Layout, Event Executions, Specialty Linen Selection, Decorations, Audio Visual Equipment, Personnel Management and most of all CUSTOMER SATISFACTION.

I am a... Sandals Certified Specialist, Member of the Association of Bridal Consultants, Fayetteville Weddings Examiner (article writer), Member of Wedding Solution Specialist of Fayetteville, Certified Tourism Ambassador, Former Member of the National Association of Catering Executives.
